Hello there! I am absolutely thrilled to announce the launch of The Frizzle Box! Back in my teaching days, I always dreamt of rocking those quirky, novelty print dresses that truly reflected my inner cartoon teacher spirit. But let's face it, the struggle was real! Thrift stores were a gamble, sewing my own clothes was expensive and time-consuming, and don't even get me started on the limited sizes and high prices at regular stores. Fast fashion? Not my vibe - it's neither environmentally sustainable nor long-lasting.

Introducing The Frizzle Box

So, I had a lightbulb moment - a subscription box tailored for feminine-dressing educators and school staff. Picture this: top-notch novelty print dresses, paired with stunning independent artist-designed statement earrings that perfectly match a curriculum theme. And wait, there's more! Each box would include a chapter or picture book of your choice, along with a customized lesson plan for your grade level.

But here’s the thing—I wasn’t sure if others would be as excited about this idea as I was. So, I floated the idea to my friends who are teachers, school professionals, and librarians. And guess what? They were absolutely on board! They wanted to dress in fabulous, curriculum-matching outfits too! I decided to run a pilot with a few of these wonderful people, including a friend who volunteers for Storytime with Drag Queens—he said The Frizzle Box logo reminded him of the program. I asked them to give it to me straight because I wanted real, constructive, feedback. And oh my goodness, the response was overwhelmingly positive! They loved it! (With the exception of one dress size issue, related to vendor sizing inconsistencies, but hey, that's why we did a pilot, to work out those kinks!)

And now, here we are, gearing up to unleash The Frizzle Box to the world! Trust me, this isn't about making a quick buck off teachers. I’m doing it because teachers deserve to wear something that makes them seriously happy, and because I have an absolute blast curating these boxes that I believe will do just that!
